Meet Our Staff

Dr. Linda Mitchell - Veterinarian
Linda Mitchell, DVM graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream that started when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Lordstown High School in 1986 and earned her BA from Hiram College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1990.

After graduating from The Ohio State University, she worked in a local vet hospital for 4 years. In September 2002, Dr. Mitchell started Rainbow Mobile Vet Clinic. After 2 years of mobile practice she expanded to the stationary clinic.  Dr. Mitchell lives in North Royalton with her wife and step-daughter; they also share their home with their three dogs and one cat.

Dr. Jessica Alcorn - Veterinarian
Jessica Alcorn, DVM is a native of Ohio, growing up in Geauga County.  She earned a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 1993 and worked for several years as a designer.  Choosing to pursue her love of animals and medicine, she went back to school and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.

Dr. Alcorn shares her life with two dogs (Seba and Zaphod) and three cats (Lord Randall, Guildenstern and Rosencrantz).  Her weekend pursuits include running, hiking and birding.

Maria Clemens - Office Manager
Maria joined the Rainbow team in May, 2009 as a part time receptionist.  Growing up, she always had cats and dogs as family pets, but this was the first time she actually worked this closely with them and she loved it.  In 2012 Maria was promoted to Office Manager and still loves what she does.

Maria comes from a large family, so she enjoys spending time with them when she is not working.  She shares her life with her two children, Kelsey and Matthew and her two canine girls, Maddie and Isabella.

Kathy Clemens - Receptionist
Kathy has always had animals in her life and is deeply devoted to them.  This commitment to their health and well-being was one of the things that inspired her to seek employment in the animal care industry.  She currently shares her life with 4 cats; 13 year old Simba, 10 year old Mallory, 7 year old Cali Marie and 7 year old Somer, her 2 year old lab mix dog Trinity and her father and her brother.

Kathy enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, playing games, bowling, putting puzzles together and snuggling with her furry kids.  Her current favorite TV show is Suits and “Dr. Zhivago” is her favorite movie.

Kathy would like Rainbow clients to know that she loves all animals and that she will treat each patient like her own; her goal is to help clients through all the stages of caring for their pets.

Renee Borosky - Receptionist

Renee has 2 daughters aged 11 and 8. She spends her time reading, knitting or just spending time at home. She has 5 cats Toaster (10), Shadow (8), Milo (7), Felix (3) and Little Foot (2), and 3 dogs Zoey – Flat Coated Retriever (13),   Rooby Tuesday – Pit bull / Dalmatian mix (5), Brownie Earthquake – Collie / Golden mix (2).

Renee enjoys going to the Botanical Gardens, the Cleveland Art Museum, The Cleveland Metropark Zoo, Nature Centers, and going on nature hikes with friends. She also enjoys nature photography and taking pictures of her pets and children. Renee loves watching Archer and her favorite movies are the Harry Potter Series and the Hunger Games series.

Dianna -Klimas - Lead Registered Veterinary Technician
A career in the veterinary field was always something that interested Dianna.  She earned her Bachelors of Science in Small Animal Science from Delaware Valley College and then went on to receive her degree as a Veterinary Technologist from Stautzenberger College.

She shares her life with her husband Seth, 1 dog (Linus), 4 cats (Sugar Bear, Marbles, Uno and Calla), 2 goats (Sylvester and Merlin) and 2 pot-bellied pigs (Paris and Louie).  Her animals are her babies and she would like Rainbow clients to know that she will treat their animals just like her own.

Dianna truly loves all animals and this love caused her to become a vegan for ethical reasons.

Dianna's favorite quote is "The greatness of a nation and it's moral progress can be judged by the way it's animals are treated" - Gandhi.

Danielle Bolm - Registered Veterinary Technician
Growing up in Michigan, Danielle always knew that her career would focus on animals and after two years of school she earned her Associates of Specialized Science at Vet Tech Institute.  She plans to continue studying to keep up to date with advances in veterinary medicine and strives to be the best she can be each day.

Danielle currently shares her life with her husband and their three pets - Ruby the Dachshund, Roy the Lab Mix and Meela the cat.  One of her main passions in life is horses - over the years they have taught her patience, kindness and understanding.

Kristen Dontenville - Veterinary Technician Student
Kristen was inspired to choose a career in animal care by her family's love for their pets - they always had at least two to take care of at any given time. When she isn't working or focusing on building the skills she will need to eventually become a vet tech, Kristen enjoys attending Cleveland sporting events, traveling and cooking.  Her favorite TV show is "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and her all time favorite movie is "Pulp Fiction".

Kristen would like Rainbow clients to know that she treats patients that come in just like they are her own - with love and care.

Brandon

Brandon Reed-Clements - Senior Veterinary Assistant
Animals have always been a part of Brandon's life, but after watching a friends dog get hit by a car with no one knowing what to do, he decided that he never wanted to stand by helplessly again and found his future profession.  Brandon is a native Ohioan and he comes from a very large and close family.  He is partial to large breed dogs such as German Shepherds, Great Danes, Labs and Pit Bulls because, in his own words, "...they are goofballs like me".

Brandon has been studying at Cleveland State and Case Western University with the goal of becoming a vet with his own practice.  In his spare time (what there is of it), Brandon loves fishing, motorcycles, and working on cars and car audio systems.  He enjoys Scrubs and is a fan of the Indiana Jones series of movies.  He's a great cook and in the summer often finds happiness at his grill.

Brandon shares his life with 3 dogs, Shelby, Nadia and Neesie and 3 cats, Nate, Norman and Nikki.

Mallory Myers - Veterinary Assistant

Marissa LoParo - Veterinary Assistant

Jamie Chausse  - Veterinary Assistant

Mui Mui - Clinic Cat

The longest tenured member of our current clan of cats, Mui Mui can reliably be found napping contentedly in the employee lounge at any and all times of the day.  Shortly after becoming a permanent resident in early 2013 he successfully began training employees to give him his favorite dry food on command.

Squeaky - Clinic Cat

While she is likely the shyest member of the team, Squeaky at heart is truly a cat in search of the perfect lap.
She can most often be found occupying the staff member most willing to indulge her at that time.

Marshall - Clinic Cat

Despite being the most recent addition to the RVC crew, Marshall is the cat walking around like he owns the place.  He can often be found wandering the halls in search of anyone who may have treats, or lounging on top of files, keyboards or equipment that you need to use at the time.
