Rainbow Veterinary Clinic - Our Team

Dr. Linda Mitchell

Dr. Mitchell graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream that started when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Lordstown High School in 1986 and earned her BA from Hiram College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1990.

After graduating from The Ohio State University, she worked in a local vet hospital for 4 years. In September 2002, Dr. Mitchell started Rainbow Mobile Vet Clinic. After 2 years of mobile practice she expanded to the stationary clinic.  Dr. Mitchell lives in Seven Hills with her wife and step-daughter; their home is run by 2 dogs, Millie and Rudi.

Dr. Jessica Alcorn

Dr. Jessica Alcorn is a 2004 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She grew up in Geauga County with horses, dogs, cats, and a rabbit.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from  Rhode Island School of Design in 1993, and worked as a designer in Shaker Heights for several years before following her true passion, veterinary medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Alcorn enjoys trail running, birding, and curling up with a good book.  She enjoys the company of her dog, Zaphod, and three cats, Lord Randall, Rosencrantz, and Gildenstern.

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Dianna is our Veterinary Technician.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Small Animal Science from Delaware Valley College in 2000 and her Veterinary Technician degree from Stautzenberger College in 2010.

When Dianna isn’t helping your pets she enjoys spending time with her husband, her three cats, Marbles, Uno and Calla, and her two potbellied pigs, Paris and Louie.  Sighthounds hold a special place in her heart.  She also enjoys running, boxing and reading.

Dianna takes pride in the fact that she is a vegan and feels that she is the voice for all animal’s rights. Please take comfort in knowing that she will always treat your pets as though they are her own.

Veterinary Assistants

Mallory started at Rainbow Veterinary Clinic in 2014 as an assistant, and I’m so glad I chose this career! There is nothing more rewarding than nursing a sick animal back to health. I love the variety of work and how each day is different. I am currently enrolled in the veterinary technician program at Penn Foster. My husband and I have 2 human children, 2 dogs & 3 cats! We love to hike, camp, play sports, kayak and pretty much do anything that keeps us outdoors.

Corey always had various animals growing up, and started working in a vet clinic part time when he was in high school. That turned into a lifelong passion for helping animals. He is currently studying to become a Veterinary Technician in order to further his abilities.

Corey enjoys cooking, reading, watching movies and tv, as well as spending time outside. He lives with his wife and daughter plus a houseful of cats.

Liz is currently enrolled to be a Veterinary Technician. She enjoys all animals, so much that she works at a vet clinic and a doggy day care. She is the youngest of 5 children. She has 3 brothers and 1 sister. Her favorite color is blue, and she loves to paint!

Animals have always been a part of Brandon's life, but after watching a friend’s dog get hit by a car with no one knowing what to do, he decided that he never wanted to stand by helplessly again and found his future profession.  Brandon is a native Ohioan and he comes from a very large and close family.  He is partial to large breed dogs such as German Shepherds, Great Danes, Labs and Pit Bulls because, in his own words, "...they are goofballs like me".

In his spare time (what there is of it), Brandon loves fishing, anything outdoors, traveling, and working on cars.  He enjoys Modern Family and is a fan of the Indiana Jones series of movies.  He's a great cook and often finds happiness at his grill year round.

Brandon shares his life with his wife Samantha and their two children.

Jordan is from a small town near Akron. She graduated from Virginia Tech University last year with a degree in Animal Sciences. She has always known that she wanted to work with animals, so in the future she plans to go to Veterinary school.

Lindsey has been working in the veterinary field for 12 years. She takes pride in her job as veterinary assistant and will always give your pet the best care. She is currently taking classes in Interior Design; in what little spare time she has, she is with her husband, their two children and two dogs BoBo and Maddy.
