Doctors

Dr. Linda Mitchell

Dr. Linda Mitchell

Dr. Mitchell graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, fulfilling a lifelong dream that started when she was 5 years old. She graduated from Lordstown High School in 1986 and earned her BA from Hiram College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1990.

After graduating from The Ohio State University, she worked in a local vet hospital for 4 years. In September 2002, Dr. Mitchell started Rainbow Mobile Vet Clinic. After 2 years of mobile practice she expanded to the stationary clinic.  Dr. Mitchell lives in Seven Hills with her wife and step-daughter; their home is run by 2 dogs, Millie and Rudi.

Dr. Jessica Alcorn

Dr. Jessica Alcorn

Dr. Jessica Alcorn is a 2004 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.  She grew up in Geauga County with horses, dogs, cats, and a rabbit.  She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from  Rhode Island School of Design in 1993, and worked as a designer in Shaker Heights for several years before following her true passion, veterinary medicine.

Dr. Alcorn has three dogs and a cat named Rosie at home always keeping her busy. In her free time, Dr. Alcorn enjoys trail running, birding, and curling up with a good book. What she enjoys most about working in this field is helping people by keeping their pets happy and healthy.

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Dianna

Dianna

You may also see Dianna’s dog, Gary, in and around the clinic as he is the vice president of Rainbow! Dianna had always wanted to be an advocate and voice for animals so becoming a RVT was the best way she knew how to! She has been a vegan since 2005, has lived in 2 different countries as well as 8 different states, and is a sucker for all things sparkly.

Residents

Squeaky

Squeaky

Squeaky came to the clinic in 2015, when she was found out in the cold by one of our clients and was brought in for medical care. She has been with us ever since, enjoying lots of Temptations treats, being the queen of the lounge couch, and patrolling our lunches for anything delicious that can be shared.

Marsh

Marshall

Marshall also joined the Rainbow family in 2015, and greets the staff at the front door each morning. At the age of 19, he spends his days plodding around in search of attention and his kibbles, as well as sun bathing in the front windows under the lobby chairs.

Brandon

Brandon

Animals have always been a part of Brandon's life, but after watching a friend’s dog get hit by a car with no one knowing what to do, he decided that he never wanted to stand by helplessly again and found his future profession.  Brandon is a native Ohioan and he comes from a very large and close family.  He is partial to large breed dogs such as German Shepherds, Great Danes, Labs and Pit Bulls because, in his own words, "...they are goofballs like me".

In his spare time (what there is of it), Brandon loves fishing, anything outdoors, traveling, and working on cars.  He enjoys Modern Family and is a fan of the Indiana Jones series of movies.  He's a great cook and often finds happiness at his grill year round.

Brandon shares his life with his wife Samantha and their three children.

Corey

Corey

Corey always had various animals growing up, and started working in a vet clinic part time when he was in high school. That turned into a lifelong passion for helping animals. He is currently studying to become a Veterinary Technician in order to further his abilities.

Corey enjoys cooking, reading, watching movies and tv, as well as spending time outside. He lives with his wife and daughters plus a houseful of cats.

Liz

Liz

Liz is currently in Veterinary Technician School and will be finishing up soon! She has a cat named Lalo at home who stayed here at the clinic with us looking for a home until Liz adopted him! What she enjoys most about working in this field is knowing that she has done everything in her power to help an animal feel more comfortable and pain free.

Erin

Erin

Erin is currently in Veterinary Technician School and will be finishing up soon! Erin has a variety of pets at home including 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 fish, and a bearded dragon – with a majority of them being named after Star Wars characters! At work, Erin enjoys helping each and every animal feel and look their very best. A fun fact about her is that her family owns two cabins in Canada which they like to spend time at during the summer months.

Amy

Amy

Amy has two dogs at home, Smokey and Bandit, who she loves exploring all of the Cleveland Metroparks with. What she enjoys most about working in this field is seeing the progress of an animal getting back to their best selves. Before becoming a veterinarian assistant, Amy was a marine mammal zookeeper, even living in Alaska for a time!

Skye

Skye

Skyelar just finished up the Valley College veterinarian assistant program, and looks forward to starting the veterinarian technician program soon. She has one dog at home, Lovey, as well as 3 cats - Kiba, Yami, and Pop, all of who she adopted here at Rainbow! Skye loves to travel all around for concerts and anime conventions.

Endia

Endia

Endia has a dog, 2 cats, and even a bearded dragon! She likes to travel and experience different cultures and has been to Mexico, Canada, Portugal, the Caribbean and Japan. On the weekends, she works for a vaccine clinic helping the community keep all of their pets up to date.

Pat

Pat

Whenever you call Rainbow, it will more than likely be Pat on the other end of the phone answering your questions! Pat was a long time Rainbow client before becoming a receptionist here, after working in the Cleveland schools for 33 years. Before that, she even owned her own security company! Pat has 2 dogs and a cat that she calls her own as well as Penny the raccoon in her backyard that she tends to look out for.
