Wellness and Preventative Care: We emphasize the need for regular physical exams. We offer routine testing for heart worms and intestinal parasites and we develop vaccine plans for each individual patient. 

Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite allows for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.

Anesthesia:  During all anesthetic procedures, each patient is monitored by a Registered Veterinary Technician AND a highly trained assistant using the most up-to-date equipment and techniques. 

Internal medicine: Drs. Mitchell and Alcorn are very skilled diagnosticians adept at diagnosing and treating many common illnesses. However, as "general practitioners" they don't hesitate to refer more complicated cases to  veterinary specialists. 

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, digital X-ray system provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We are also able to email the radiographs to board certified radiologists for quick review.

House calls: We are proud to offer house calls for our established clients within our service area. Please call for more information.

Dentistry:  We take oral health very seriously! A "dental" includes general anesthesia, full oral exam, digital dental radiographs, ultrasonic scaling, polishing and the surgical extraction of any diseased teeth. 

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent identification: We offer implantation of AVID microchips 

Pharmacy:  We have many of the most commonly used medications available on site. However, for convenience and to save our clients money, we work closely with Covetrus, a reputable online pharmacy.

Individualized Parasite Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to  prevent heartworm, intestinal parasites, fleas and ticks on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
